Alive

Greetings from midterms hell!

Funny cultural observation about the U.K.: they like to put you at ease by having absolutely no necessary work throughout the term and then KILL you during midterms. Currently working on two 10-page 10-source papers for history and religion (is this finals week or something?), two subjects I am definitely not used to.

Good news? I'm leaving for Italy tomorrow and will attempt to get some blogging done as we'll have much more traveling time than we did in Amsterdam.

A fun sneak preview of what is to come:

My week with mother!
-Kensington Palace
-The V&A Ball Gowns Exhibit
-Singin' in the Rain
-Windsor Castle
-Shakespeare's Globe
-High Tea
-Tower of London
-Oxford Street
-London Eye

Amazing visits to the Old Vic & The Comedy Store

A day trip to Stonehenge and Bath

....SEE WHY I HAVE NO TIME TO BLOG?

Anyways, back to the successes and failures of the Counter-Reformation under Mary Tudor....

Happy Guy Fawkes Day!
